District Anniversary: Kink n Shop June 7 signup sheet

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the LEATHER & LGBTQ Cultural District's 8th Anniversary Kink n Shop on Sunday, June 7th from 12-4 PM. The event has moved indoors to Stopgap at 1277 Mission Street (@ 9th)

We have the following volunteer roles available for the event:.

Welcome Table
- Wear your favorite gear to represent the community!
- Greet the guests as they enter and keep a head count on a clicker.
- Hand out 8th Anniversary pins to each guest.
- Must be warm and engaging!

Outreach Booth
- Warmly greet patrons who come to the booth
- Shares information about the District (palm cards available at the booth that lists what the District does!)
- Encourage folx to join our newsletter mailing list or become a member as a means to know what is happening in the District!
- Build positive relationships with community members
- Sell bandanas/pins (Training provided by either Cal or Alicia)

Gear Swap n Shop Helper
- Assist the Gear Team Leads Dave, Kat, and Josh with coordinating sales, consignments and assistance with the Gear Swap n Shop
- Handles cash and charge sales (Current Gear Team volunteers or those who intend to volunteer on an ongoing basis; a short training is required)
- Interacting with customers and assisting them with selecting and trying on items

We ask all our volunteers to please report to the Outreach Booth 15 minutes prior to the beginning of your shift to check in and for any additional instructions. You will report to either Cal (District Manager) or Alicia (Board Vice President). Please report back to the Outreach Booth at the end of your shift for a quick debrief and check in!
