Fun Fest 2024 signup sheet

Fun Fest will take place on May 11th from 12:30-4:30 at Unity Park in Turners Falls. Thank you for signing up to volunteer! We are relying on lots of help to make this event successful. If you are volunteering as a minor, we will need a parental consent on file prior to the event. Please email annierose@musicafranklin.org to request a waiver. For any additional questions, please email annierose@musicafranklin.org.

Festival Decorations & Set-Up: Assemble pop-up tents, move chairs & tables, hang banners, set up activity supplies, post signage, etc. Whatever needs to be done to get ready for the public!

Greeter: Use provided click counters to try to get accurate head count of each person entering the festival. Greet public, explain COVID precautions and offer masks, answer questions about Musica Franklin, hand out first aid supplies if necessary, direct volunteers to sign in sheet and their designated station, encourage people leaving to fill out surveys, etc. Shifts will be staggered so that volunteers can teach the next shift.

Photo Releases: Trail photographer with clipboard and ask photo subjects for permission to use their images for Música Franklin marketing & PR. If granted, get signed form. If denied, inform photographer and those images will be deleted. Clipboard and forms will be provided.

Petting Zoo Assistant: Volunteer will be responsible for cleaning mouthpieces and reeds for the Expandable Brass Band's instrument petting zoo. Guidelines on cleaning will be provided.

Surveys: Wander festival and ask people to fill out very brief feedback survey, which you will ideally enter on your phone via Google Forms. Paper copies and a clipboard will also be available. This is a job for an outgoing person who is not shy to approach strangers and ask them to complete the survey!

Instrument Petting Zoo: The zoo will be closed from 1:30-2:45, but the volunteer will be responsible for watching the instruments.
