Young Friends of Shelby Volunteer Event - Harvesting Wildflower Seeds (October 11th 9-11 AM) signup sheet

Thank you so much for joining Young Friends of Shelby, a group for park lovers aged 25-39 who want to connect, give back, and have a little fun along the way. After our successful first event in July, we're excited to host another for the fall quarter out in Shelby Bottoms.

On Saturday, October 11th from 9-11 AM, we'll be taking a hike out to the meadow in Shelby Bottoms to collect wildflower seeds, including the beloved tickseed sunflower. Because we'll be out in the open meadow, wearing sun protection will be important (like hats, sunglasses, and plenty of sunscreen). Please also wear comfortable walking shoes!

Once you sign up, you'll receive an email the week of the event with more information like parking, weather, and more. If you have any questions, please reach out to cd@friendsofshelby.org. Thank you for your support, we can't wait to see you out there!
