Yorkton Community Fridge Cleaning signup sheet

** UPDATE: The garbage and recycling bins in the SIGN parking will now be locked. The key can be found attached to our current key for our cleaning supply cabinet. They are on a hook at the back of the fridge structure. Message us on social media if you have difficulties finding it.

**If you're able, please bring cleaning wipes with you to your shift. If you need us to provide wipes, send us a message or email. ***

Sign up for a shift and take 15 minutes of your day to help keep the fridge clean and organized! We have two different cleaning shifts each day where you can stop by the fridge anytime during the following times:

AM Shift: 6am-2pm
PM Shift: 3pm-11pm

Your job includes:

• Check that fridge temperature is between 0°C and 4°C
• Check that the freezer temperature is at -18°C or lower
- Record temperatures in log book/binder in the cleaning supply cupboard.
• Ensure the pantry and fridge are clean and free of pests or animals. Cleaning supplies for volunteer use are in the cupboard
• Remove any foods that are rotten, expired or otherwise unacceptable
• Remove any garbage or recycling as needed and deposit in the SIGN bins
