For shifts ending after 5pm, we kindly ask volunteers to assist with clean-up and take-down in their assigned area. Snacks and drinks will be available for all volunteers at the Volunteer Tent, where you can also check in and pick up your volunteer badge before starting your shift.

ROLE DESCRIPTIONS

Set Up Crew
Help us prepare the venue before the event begins. Duties include setting up booths (including the Run A Boat booth), arranging the Kids Zone area, placing signage, setting up garbage bins around the venue, and assisting with general event setup as needed.

Kids Zone Support
Support our Kids Zone Coordinator with fun family activities such as arts & crafts, face painting, and interactive kids programming. Volunteers may also assist with setting up the Kids Zone space and helping with clean-up/take down at the end of the shift.

Hot Chocolate Station Volunteer
Help us serve FREE hot chocolate to guests throughout the event with our Hot Chocolate Station Coordinator. Duties include boiling water, mixing hot chocolate, pouring and serving, keeping the station clean and organized, restocking supplies, and cleaning up the area at the end of your shift.

Beef Patty Server / Cashier (Run A Boat Booth)
Support the Run A Boat booth by serving Jamaican beef patties and handling customer transactions. Duties include taking payments (cash and card), keeping the booth organized, assisting with maintaining a clean serving area. Once all patties are sold out, then this booth gets shut down.

Take Down Crew
Help us pack up and clean up after the event. Duties include dismantling booths, taking down signage, collecting garbage bins, packing supplies into boxes, and assisting with general venue cleanup.

Volunteer Welcome Desk
Be the friendly face that supports our volunteer team! You will have a list of all volunteer names. Duties include checking volunteers in, handing out volunteer badges, and monitoring the volunteer snack and drink station to ensure supplies are organized and reserved for volunteers only.
