Volunteer Opportunities…
Sleigh Ride loader/unloader (6 volunteers/night) - assist guests with boarding/exiting sleighs safely. Take tickets, while ensuring guests are on the correct sleigh. Shifts start at 5:30 pm and end at 9 pm.
Fire Pit (Isabelle Connelly Park) - prepare and monitor fire pits in the park area for the evening. Shifts start at 5:30 pm and end at 9 pm.
Runners - A team of 4 -6 volunteers run along with the sleighs to stop traffic at intersections. While this can be a great opportunity for a young adult or teen to volunteer, we are happy to have anyone fill these roles. Shifts start at 5:30 pm and end at 9 pm. Safety vests will be provided.
Pilot Truck Driver - Lead the sleigh rides in a pilot vehicle. This vehicle ensures the safety of the horses, sleigh ride guests, pedestrians and traffic. *If you are a new volunteer for this position, we will give you more information once we firm up our volunteer schedule. Shifts start at 5:30 pm and end at 9 pm.
Open Streets Nights (formerly known as Walk Nights) - Volunteers would tend firepits along Candy Cane Lane, Your main task is simply to add logs to the fire as needed and give them a poke. These shifts are 2.5 hours long. Please see the dates below.
