We need a variety of volunteers to help bring our Community Dinners to life!
Volunteer roles include:
1. Set up at the hall: putting out the tables and arranging chairs, placing table clothes, getting the drinks out, all the things to prepare the space before guests arrive.
2. Serving: dinner is a buffet, scoop food, answer questions about the dish (is the GF?, etc), swapping out empty pans for full ones, etc. Tidy up: assisting with clean up at the end of the evening, packing food, washing a few dishes.
3. Greeter: say hello to guests as they enter. Maybe they have questions about the location of the washroom, what to do with their coat, make a donation, give the lay of the land.
Volunteers are welcome to sign up for more than one shift. Many people choose to stay and help throughout the evening, but there is no obligation. Everyone gets to enjoy a meal!
