• Hike the trails before the Snow Falls with a Mono Nordic Ambassador
• Develop a plan to ensure a safe and successful first ski experience
• Discover some bypass trails


(Event leader will introduce some of the items listed below. The attendees will break up into several groups dependent on their needs, i.e., Family Friendly Route, Challenging Route etc., and accompany an Ambassador for a walk in the woods.)
You will learn how to:
• Load the trail map onto your phone and track your location
• Trail Etiquette
• Sign in to ensure Insurance Coverage
• Find trails that are family and new skiers friendly
• How to make your first visit fun for everyone
• What to do when the trail is too steep
• Washroom locations
• How to dress for Cross Country Skiing

Participants....Meet: Saturday Nov. 9, 2024 or Sunday Nov. 10, 2024 at 1:00 pm
(Walk length to be determined by the group)
• At the UPPER parking lot at Monora Park, 500 Monora Park Dr. Mono, ON
• Wear appropriate foot wear and dress for the weather
