TuneUp Gran Fundo p/b Evil Bikes signup sheet

Hello! Thank you for your interest in being part of the 2nd annual TuneUp Gran Fundo! We're stoked to offer 3 routes this year in addition to fun raffle prizes and an after-party at Evil bikes with swag, music and games!

All volunteers MUST check-in at The Landing @ Evil Bikes at 8:30am on Sunday, July 13. Riders roll out at 10am. As a reminder, Gran Fundo volunteers get a free 3-day festival pass.

Route details - All routes are doable and fun on a gravel bike, but those doing the Open route should expect an adventure! A flat-bar bike with MTB gearing will make the steep climbs more manageable and the singletrack downhill more enjoyable. Not your dad's gravel adventure! All routes are designed to be completed in ~1.5-2.5hrs.

NUETRAL ROLL OUT! All rides will have a neutral roll out for the first 2.5 miles (ie., to California). This is to ensure safety at the Chuckanut Dr. and Old Samish intersection. You will be sharing the trail with walkers and other riders, so please be courteous and slow for all trail users and participants.

Open - 22 miles, 3650ft
Intermediate - 17 miles, 1800ft
Family - 13 miles, 800ft

Aid Station Locations. Supplies will be provided the morning of at Evil Bikes. Please bring a vehicle for gear transit.

NOTE: If you sign-up for a LEAD position, please be confident in your abilities to stay with the lead group and have a familiarity with Chuckanut and the routes provided. If you lose contact with the lead rider that's fine, just try to stay with the front group and fix signage or clear the route for other riders if needed.

Ride positions should also bring tools, mechanical skills and first aid items as needed. Walkie talkies and phone numbers will be shared to report emergencies. A device to load the Strava route onto is highly recommended, although the route will be marked with signs, chalk and flags.
