TRANSPORTING WILDLIFE...The Transport group picks up wildlife in need of assistance - it may be as easy as picking up an animal already contained and boxed and taking them to one of our rehab specialists. Or if you choose, you can help to capture animals in need - we provide advanced training for those who are interested! Most of the wildlife we transport is hawks and owls, but you might have opportunities to transport baby possums, squirrels, and other youngsters in need of help. It is a great opportunity to help animals without making an ongoing time commitment - the schedule is very flexible. We also help pick up food for the animals, helping fawns, raccoons, foxes, bobcats, and other hungry creatures. Join us to see if this is the volunteer opportunity for you!
