Donation collection and sorting signup sheet
Receive donations, catalog, and organize for pick-up.
Receiving donations: You will interact with folks dropping off donations in smaller quantities, directing them where to put their donations. If a larger donation is planned for your shift, you will be notified and can coordinate the drop-off in the back where the warehouse is located
Moving and carrying items: Items of varying sizes will need to be moved for sorting - you will mostly be working inside but some movement between inside and outside. If you have any limitations or concerns with lifting or carrying items, please let us know.
Variable temperatures: You will be primarily working inside the warehouse but there is no heating or cooling in the warehouse, so please dress accordingly for the weather.
Reviewing and cataloging donations: In order to ensure we’re getting what folks need, you’ll be reviewing donations that come in and comparing to the list below. All items received should be cataloged in this spreadsheet, which you can access on your computer or fill out the printed version available in the room.
