Thanksgiving 2019 volunteer opportunities with the Healthy Giving Council in Downtown Phoenix!

This holiday season, help make a difference for those experiencing homelessness by volunteering with the Healthy Giving Council and educating others about healthy giving (Healthy Giving Council website: GiveSmartAZ.org).

----------Volunteer on November 28, 2019----------

Volunteer Option1 - Barricades on Jefferson St./9th-15th Ave. (4 hours/shift): Work with the Healthy Giving Council to help direct people around the Human Services Campus while educating givers about healthy giving and how to make a difference for those experiencing homelessness this holiday season. Report to 9th Ave. and Madison St. at the beginning of a shift for instructions and materials.

Volunteer Option 2 - Barricades on 9th Ave. & 15th Ave. (3 hours/shift) - Work with the Healthy Giving Council to help direct people around the Human Services Campus while educating givers about healthy giving and how to make a difference for those experiencing homelessness this holiday season. Report to 9th Ave. and Madison St. at the beginning of a shift for instructions and materials.

Volunteer Option 3 - The lot @9th Ave./Madison St. (3 hours/shift): Work with the Healthy Giving Council by speaking with groups about healthy giving and how to make a difference for those experiencing homelessness this holiday season. Report to 9th Ave and Madison St. at the beginning of a shift for instructions and materials.

Volunteer Option 4 - Clean-Up Crew (4 hours/shift): Work with the Healthy Giving Council to clean up the streets, sidewalks and lots due to the overwhelming amount of handouts around the Human Services Campus. Report to 9th Ave. and Madison St. at the beginning of a shift for instructions and materials.

Volunteer Option 5 - Volunteer on 9th Ave./ Madison St. (4 hours/shift): Work with the Healthy Giving Council to educate givers about healthy giving and how to make a difference for those experiencing homelessness this holiday season.

Signing up for multiple shifts is welcome! We also welcome Spanish speakers!
