EVENT: Picnic in the Park @ Evelyn's Park in Bellaire

WHEN: Saturday, April 20, 2024 @ 11:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. (Actual Event Run Time: 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.)

WHERE: Evelyn's Park, 4400 Bellaire Boulevard, Bellaire, TX 77401

SERVICE: Volunteers will assist with the initial setup, staffing and ultimate breakdown of a GCTMN booth which will serve as a place of outreach focus for our chapter during this Evelyn's Park Conservancy (EPC) hosted event to help attendees celebrate Earth Day 2024. A number of environmental themed and focused booths will also be present and participate in the event. The messaging of our booth for this year's event will be to provide general information about our Texas Master Naturalist chapter. Further, information about the State's Master Naturalist program and the role of informed volunteers in our mission will be shared. Our booth will be outdoors and EPC will provide a table for us to display our materials. Please plan to bring your hat, sunscreen and a personal folding chair.
