TEULON CANADA DAY VOLUNTEERS
The Green Acres Art Centre is seeking mature outgoing individuals ages 12 - 85 who are creative, enthusiastic and reliable adults and youth looking for volunteer opportunities in our community.
This year the event will be 2 days Sunday June 30 and Monday July 1. There will be a concert in park on June 30 starting at 4pm and going until dusk and finishing off the day with a fireworks show. July 1 will be in the park and run from 11 to 4pm. Games will be 11 to 3 and stage entertainment will go until 4pm.

Volunteer Positions
• June 30th
o Volunteers will assist in the canteen with serving customers or preparing a perogy & garlic sausage supper or other food items.
o Shifts at the beginning and end will assist with setting and cleaning up.
o Preferred age for volunteers in canteen is 14+
o Selling 50/50 tickets
Shuttle drivers with a license to transport people from parking spots to stage area

• July 1st
o Homemade Carnival games
o Games in the diamonds (sling shot, obstacle course & others)
o Games in the arena (floor curl, pickleball & other games)
o Volunteers will be assigned a partner and specific game or activity to manage. Duties will include ensuring participants are respectfully taking turns and explain to participants how to play the games.
o Volunteers will assist with setting up and tear down of games.
o All the games will run from 11:00 to 3:00pm.
o The number of games hosted will be determined by the # of volunteers
o Selling silent auction & 50/50 tickets
