We kick off our LASF weekend with a wonderful celebration of our community and exhibiting artists with a cocktail party at the school
Our pop-up art gallery is transformed into a vibrant and welcoming space, complete with decorations, a live band, catering and a bar.
We need a small team of parent to help the main LASF team with the final planning and coodianting of the plans for the night to make sure it's a roaring success.

ACTIVITIES -
** Opening Night Event **
> Plan, purchase and hang decorations throughout the hall - there are some in the parents cage, and a small budget to purchase new
> Liaise with the caterers to plan for the night and greet them on arrival
> Liaise with the band for their set up needs - they have everything in place, and are very self sufficient when it comes to set up, they just need a coordinator
> Man the ticket desk for people arriving for the event - ticking off of names, providing artists with a special sticker
> Liaise with the LASF team for stocking the bar

**OPENING NIGHT RAFFLE DRAW**
> Coordinate raffle prizes for our raffle draw on the night - our raffle has been a main contributor to our fundraising for the LASF and has a huge impact on being able to offset the costs of hosting the weekend. Donations of prizes has been a little slow this year, and we need 2-3 people who are happy to reach out to local businesses (or any businesses for that matter) to ask for donations to support the raffle.
