Volunteers needed for the TLS Alpaca Trot 1mile/5k run and walk for autism, Saturday November 6 at Infirmary Mound Park in Granville, Ohio. Help out with race packet pickup, course and event setup/tear down, parking and registration, course monitoring and more. Shifts available Weds. Nov. 3 through Sat. Nov. 6. Two to three hour shifts available, most are outdoors so please dress for the weather (packet pickup is indoors). Most roles involve walking, accessible/seated roles are available at all shift times. Volunteers get a free TLS Alpaca Trot 2021 t-shirt, designed by our kids on the autism spectrum!
Event proceeds benefit Learning 4 Life Farm job training for autism.
The Learning Spectrum (TLS) provides educational and therapy services to preK-12th grade students on the autism spectrum in central Ohio. Learning 4 Life Farm is creating a 7-acre farm in Johnstown, Ohio with gardens and therapy alpacas to provide transition job training for teens and young adults on the autism spectrum, in partnership with TLS.
