Oct 29th Cone Park Library walkup Pantry signup sheet

Help us staff our 5th walkup pantry at the Cone Park Branch Library on Thurs, Oct 29th.

No previous experience is required, questions can be answered at pantries. Ask your fellow volunteers or the facillitator.

Free Grocery Store volunteer roles:
Pickup- Usually picking up from Working Food or a farm. The facilitator will contact you with details. [Seasonal, Not always needed]
Setup- arrange folding tables & set up numbers station outside
Sorting- Load in food then wash hands/glove up, check perishables for Quality (compost as needed), organize food in an accessible manner
Numbers- call in folks to shop, answer questions
Comms (bilingual)- Translate, answer questions, gather feedback, etc
Scale- Help folks weigh out, take numbered slips, write down weights
Cleanup- break down cardboard, sanitize coolers if used, clean/reset the space

Please to do not volunteer if you have been exposed to COVID-19 or other contagions in the past 2 weeks.
Volunteers who are minors need to be accompanied by an adult. If possible, please do not bring/store personal belongings (bags) in the main pantry space.
