Jared Halls Eagle Scout Project at Quantico National Cemetery signup sheet
When: Apr 1 2017 from 8:30AM to 4PM (or whatever time you can offer). Rain date is 2 Apr from 830AM to 4PM.
Who: Boy Scouts, scouters, JROTC and other volunteers.
What: Cleanup gravestones from the effects of weather, dirt, algae and moss.
Where: Parking at Admin Building at QNC 18424 Joplin Road, Triangle VA, 22172.
Briefing at Shelter C (across the street).
Work site: Section 6 (short walk from Shelter C).
Why: To honor the memory of deceased veterans/ spouses who sacrificed to make our country free and to give comfort to the families of these veterans who live in the local community and throughout the nation.
Please Bring: Sun protection, insect repellent, water bottle, rain gear.
Please let me know if you can bring a bucket and scrub brush
Lunch : Will be provided from 12:10-12:40.
Uniform: Class B (Troop shirt and scout trousers or jeans if you don’t have scout trousers)
