Powhatan State Park's maintenance team is looking for a volunteer to come out once a week and help them mow in the park. The plan is to have 4-5 volunteers on a rotating weekly schedule, so each person that signs up for mowing will only have to come out once a month to cut grass.
Once you sign up for mowing, I will reach out to you to figure out which day of the week works best for your schedule.
You will be operating a zero-turn mower.
We will provide all necessary PPE (glasses, gloves, ear protection) and training to operate the mower.
Not recommended for volunteers under 18.
