Vendor & Exhibitor Load-In Support

Role Overview
Vendor & Exhibitor Load-In Support volunteers help ensure a smooth and welcoming arrival experience as vendors and exhibitors move onto the Fairgrounds and prepare for the Norfolk County Fair & Horse Show.
These volunteers are an important first point of contact, helping with directions, wayfinding, unloading coordination and general questions during the busy pre-Fair setup period.

Responsibilities
* Welcome vendors and exhibitors as they arrive at the Fairgrounds.
* Provide directions to buildings, exhibit spaces, vendor locations and designated unloading areas.
* Assist with traffic flow and help direct vehicles to appropriate load-in locations.
* Help vendors and exhibitors navigate the grounds and find the correct staff contact when needed.
* Provide basic information about load-in procedures, parking and site access.
* Assist with light unloading or moving of materials where appropriate.
* Communicate questions or issues to Fair staff.
* Help keep loading areas organized, accessible and safe.
* Represent the Fair in a friendly, helpful and professional manner.

Skills & Qualities
* Friendly, welcoming and comfortable working with people.
* Able to provide clear directions and follow established procedures.
* Patient and calm in a busy environment.
* Comfortable being outdoors and walking around the Fairgrounds.
* Reliable, attentive and willing to pitch in where needed.
* Familiarity with the Fairgrounds is helpful but not required.

Time Commitment
Shifts are available during designated **pre-Fair vendor and exhibitor load-in days**. Volunteers can select a shift based on their availability.
