Farm Day is our annual event where nearly 2,000 local third-grade students, teachers, and parents visit
the Yuba-Sutter Fairgrounds for a fun-filled day of learning all about agriculture. Farm Day provides educational
exhibits (equipment, livestock, and crops) and demonstrations geared towards teaching our local 3rd-grade
students the important role agriculture plays in our lives. Farm Day shares basic and current facts about the
agricultural industry, enabling students and teachers to become familiar with food and animal production, and
allows personal contact with farmers. Our goal is to increase awareness of agriculture's positive contributions
to our local community and economy.
This is where we need your help! Hands-on learning that engages all the senses is very valuable and
effective; it’s like show and tell for our industry. Farm Day will be from 8:30 am - 12:00 pm. - Driving time will be added to details
