On Friday, May 9th, Guy Lee Elementary (755 Harlow Rd, Springfield, OR. 97477) has invited Yujin Gakuen to participate in their annual Asian American Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Celebration. The event runs from 5-8pm with set up starting for our table around 4:00pm.

YG will have a table to represent Japanese culture! We will have hachimaki (headbands that volunteers/people can write on with their names in Japanese), origami (with visuals for people to follow), chopsticks and bean game, kendama game, and YG bookmarks (can be colored on site or taken home). Feel free to sign up for multiple shifts if you can! Prior to the event, an email with day of specifics will be sent out to volunteers.

Student volunteer shifts are open to any middle and high school students with community service hours available upon request.

If you're available to help, we'd love to have you help represent YG!

As a reminder, this event is at Guy Lee Elementary, not YG. Bring your family with you to enjoy the event and experience this great community!
