2026 - TARC To Hale and Back Volunteers signup sheet

Sign up to volunteer at To Hale and Back, TARC's 6-hour and 3.5 miler race at Hale! Event is Saturday, March 21, 2026. All volunteer shifts are for Saturday EXCEPT the course marking which is on Friday.
Use 80 Carby St, Westwood, MA for GPS and then after you get to that location, keep driving ALL THE WAY down the road (~1.5 miles) to get to the start/finish at Powissett Lodge. Volunteers get to park at the lodge (yes, even if you’re racing too!), while most (non-volunteer) runners will be parking at other lots. If you’re running the race you can still volunteer for a shift before the race (until 8 am) and I’ll make sure you’re done with enough time to get ready for the race. Volunteers are welcome to run the course (unofficially) before/after their shift as a thank you for volunteering! You’ll get an email with more details on parking/directions a few days before the race, but reach out to Melissa at maarnold@gmail.com with any questions!
