Youth for Troops is a charity of choice at the 2024 Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show. We need to cover 20 volunteer shifts to qualify for a grant from SAHS. Volunteers need to provide their emails and fill out a waiver of release. This will be emailed to you from SAHS and will need to be printed to provide at the volunteer sign in table. Volunteers will be entered to win prizes each day and will be given credentials to all of the performances. These credentials will get volunteers into the show for free each and every day. If you choose to volunteer for any additional shifts listed on the SAHS website, please put "Youth for Troops" in the comment section so we will get credit towards our grant opportunity. Please dress for the weather. The show is located at Westworld in Scottsdale (16601 N Pima Road). The show runs from February 15th - 25th. The following are the shifts YFT is trying to get covered with volunteers. Thank you!
Bridge Coordinators place a chain across the stairs of the pedestrian walkway when horses are entering or leaving the arena. This can be completed by a parent/child team but both volunteers must register and fill out the form. Floaters help the volunteer coordinator wherever needed. Program table volunteers are 18+ yrs old that are responsible for money and program sales.
