We've been invited to serve as timekeepers for the Wichita Journalism Collaborative's District 6 candidate forum. With three candidates who have confirmed their attendance, so it should be a great event. We also get to have a table to help people register, verify registration, and apply for mail-in ballots. It's also a perfect opportunity to promote our League and let people know who we are. The event will be in the Cirilo Arteaga Empowerment Room at the Evergreen Community Center and Library, 2601 N. Arkansas, Wichita 67204. We'll be there from 5:45 to 7:15, as the event runs from 6:00 to 7:00. We have all the supplies needed to do the timekeeping, so timekeepers won't need to bring anything.
