Thanksgiving & Christmas Break Bag Delivery signup sheet
We need volunteers to help deliver Break Bags on Tuesday, November 19th from 9:00am-10:00am and Monday, December 16th from 9:00am-10:00am. Volunteers will come to our office (96 Werz Industrial) and be assigned a school to deliver large break bags. We will help load bags into your car and each driver will be given directions to the school they are delivering to. All bags will need to be delivered by noon on the day of pick up.
If you have never delivered Break Bags, we provide each student that receives a weekly Backpack Buddies bag a larger bag full of groceries to go home for the week of Thanksgiving and Christmas Breaks (the size of a reusable grocery bag). This bag of food is much more substantial than our regular weekend bags in hopes to help them with groceries for their family while they are out of school for the extended break.
