2023 Twin Cities Pride in Loring Park - Our 10th Anniversary Network Booth
~For Our Queer Members~
The MN LGBTQ+ Therapists' Network welcomes our current lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, non-binary, and queer members to volunteer with us at TC Pride 2023.
We need volunteers to set up, staff, and take down our booth.
The purposes of our Pride booth are to promote the Network and our 150+ member resource directory to community members who seek mental health and wellness services, inform mental health and other service providers that we exist, and expand our provider membership.
Booth shifts: (are 2.25 hours + a 30-minute Zoom training in mid-June)
• Booth set up is F., 6.23 from 3 - 5p
• Shifts are all day on S., 6.24, and Su., 6.25
Volunteering at the booth involves:
• spreading the word about the existence of The MN LGBTQ+ Therapists' Network
• providing resource and referral information, if requested
• giving out Network swag and candy
• engaging those who stop by our booth in a spin-the-wheel game of LGBTQ+ Self-Care & Wellness. (with prizes, of course)
• people-watching and having fun!
[Staffing the booth is not about promoting individual or group practices or providing counseling.]
What you will get (besides that warm fuzzy feeling for doing this wonderful thing for your community): Volunteers will receive a MN LGBTQ+ Therapists' Network tote bag, a Network vintage water bottle, and other swag.
Required Booth Training: Volunteers are required to attend a 20 to 30-minute "Pride booth training" on Zoom. (sign-up below)
