LEATHER & LGBTQ Cultural District: LeatherWalk 2024 September 22nd signup sheet

We are so excited to have you join us for LeatherWalk 2024!

We are looking for volunteers to help us with this event. Current volunteer opprotunities include:

Safety Monitor/Traffic Monitor
- Ensures that walkers are staying within our designated lane
- Assists with the safe crossing at intersections (we will have traffic escorts that will close down the roads)

Color Guard
- Walk at the front of the group to walk with our flags
- Enthusiastic and cheerful to engage with the crowd
- This is a physical activity and requires holding a flag pole with one of our six flags

Color Guard Backup
- Walk with the walkers and may be used to switch with one of the primary color guard volunteers if breaks are needed
- Responsibilities same as mentioned above.

We will send out an reminder email with more information as we get closer to Sept 22nd. We will be encouraging all volunteers to arrive no later than 10:30 for directions and placement.
