Thank you so much for donating your time to being a part of the invaluable team that makes the Jubilee shows happen. Your role is so important to achieving our overall goal of having each student be able to perform with joy, peace, and safety.
For this show, we are offering all volunteers* a $10-$30 off tuition coupon** per chosen role (“credits” indicate the dollar amount linked to time donated for the role) to use towards future classes or camp registration- you can choose more than one as long as times do not conflict! Please email our Business Director, Kristina Pfleegor, at kristina.jubileedancespokane@gmail.com within three weeks of the show’s end to claim.
Volunteer Role Descriptions:
Dress Rehearsal Check-In and Runners: Be friendly and efficient in greeting and checking students in, as well as communicating essential info to parents. During rehearsal, helping keep all students focused and engaged by monitoring hallways and helping get students to where they need to be.
Setup/Tear Down Crews: Assist with the setup or tear down for the show, including tables, signage, etc. Tear Down Crew will include a trip to the Studio on June 7th after the show to unload at the studio.
Check-in/Check Out Team: Be friendly and efficient in greeting and checking students in, and communicating essential info to parents. Be ready immediately at the show’s end to help with checking out students as well.
Class Helper: Your primary role is to keep the students in the audience safe and sticking to their job; to quietly sit in their designated row, to support their fellow dancers on stage, and to cheer loudly after every dance! You will also be acting as a runner to help get your class from the audience to the stage at their designated mark.
Hallway Supervisor: Be in the dressing room hallway to aid students in getting to the stage at the appropriate time and offering assistance during the check-in and check-out processes.
Merch Table Cashier: Be a friendly, professional, and helpful presence, assisting people through their checkout process. Merch Table will be open before the show, during intermission, and briefly after the show as well.
Costume Checkout/Launderers: Man the costume drop-off table after the show and check off when a student brings back their costume(s), sort the items into the correct bins, and take home a portion of the costume to launder.

** If you are late for your volunteer job, you DO NOT receive a tuition coupon. Our volunteer coordinator has an incredibly tight schedule on show weekend, and we depend on you to arrive early/on time.
