On Friday, 30th September, the transformation of our school hall into a pop-up style gallery commences with the setting up and preparation of the gallery walls and lighting. We are fortunate that the Conquest team- the Coles development builders - have offered to bring our gallery wall boards to the hall for us this year - saving a huge amount of work. We need a team of dads & mums on hand to help secure the boards and paint them so that they are fresh and ready to go.
It should take no more than 3 -4 hours. Beers, soft drinks, pizzas, and cracking tunes will be provided.
Timing is approximate - please arrive when you can anytime from 4/4.30pm.
No prior experience is necessary—this is a long-standing tradition of the art show, and we encourage new dads to come and learn the ropes so that we can ensure the logistics and planning are passed down through class cohorts.
