Below is a brief description of the possible shifts you may be helping with. Volunteers must be 14 or older.

Race Day Registration: Check in registered runners and distribute participant wristbands. Ensure all participants signing in have completed the waiver. Manage walk up registrations. Provide friendly customer service while assisting with basic event questions. Refer participants to the gear check and Mega Fun zone while they wait for their heat. Remind runners to be ready for their wave time 15 min prior to their registered start time.

Starting Line and Finish Line: Assist with the flow at the starting line by directing participants to the start corral. Check participant wristbands to ensure runners have checked in. Provide runners with water, snacks if needed. Award the Mega Bouncers with their finisher’s medal at the finish line. Cheer participants on!

Obstacle Monitor: Mainly to ensure the flow of runners is steady and that everyone is being safe on the obstacles. You are outfitted with safety materials after orientation. Ensure runners stay on the route. Instruct participants on completing obstacles. Watch out for and report any injuries to Course Manager. Offer motivation and cheers to the participants!

Course Water Stop: Provide a cup of water at water stations. Pick up cups that are thrown on the ground and place in the garbage can provided. Ensure runners stay on the route. Watch out for, and report any injuries to the course manager. Offer motivation and cheers to the participants.

Friday Set up: Help set up tents and event supplies on Friday so you have time to enjoy the event with friends on Saturday. This is FRIDAY SHIFT BEFORE THE SATURDAY EVENT

Saturday Break Down crew: Help pack up and load the trailer from all the fun. This starts when the participants have all left the course.
