Break Bag Delivery Drivers 2025 signup sheet
****PLEASE READ BELOW AS SOME THINGS HAVE CHANGED****
We need volunteers to help deliver Break Bags on Tuesday, November 18th from 9:00am-10:00am and Tuesday, December 16th from 9:00am-10:00am. Volunteers will come to the back side of our office at the first roll up door (96 Werz Industrial) and be assigned a school to deliver large break bags. We will help load bags into your car and each driver will be given directions to the school they are delivering to. All bags will need to be delivered by noon on the day of pick up. If you and your spouse are coming together or you and a friend that want to deliver together, please only sign one of you up. This will help us keep track of the actual number of volunteers we need for delivery.
**We would love it if every volunteer could bring in some individual cups of fruit when you come in to volunteer! It has been harder to get food from the Atlanta Food Bank and this is one small way you can help us in addition to delivering bags.** Thank you in advance!
If you have never delivered Break Bags, we provide each student that receives a weekly Backpack Buddies bag a larger bag full of groceries to go home for the week of Thanksgiving and Christmas Breaks (the size of a reusable grocery bag). This bag of food is much more substantial than our regular weekend bags in hopes to help them with groceries for their family while they are out of school for the extended break.
