During the EGV Ride of Silence, we'll ride to remember Rose Waters, Al Hattendorf, Jose Nelson Cobian and all others who have been killed or injured while cycling. All are invited to participate. Only those interested in assisting with specific roles need to sign up as volunteers.

Key roles include the following:
• Registration: make sure all participants sign waiver
• Mechanic (from 7 Mile Cycles): offer basic repairs and inflate tires before the ride begins
• Ride Leader: be familiar with the route and lead the group at a slow pace (9-10mph)
• Sweeps: ride behind group and assist with minor mechanical issues and traffic management
• Corkers: control intersections as the group passes through
