*****POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE********
We are excited to announce the reopening of the garden at our Family Support Center!
Cultivating healthy habits is one of the most important ways that a community can support the development of its children and one of the most rewarding ways to accomplish this is to grow fresh, nutritious food alongside families whose circumstances make it more difficult for them to obtain healthy meals.
To kick-off this exciting project, we are looking for volunteers to prepare the garden for spring planting during workdays TBD
After these two workdays, we will need regular volunteers to help sustain the garden project. General maintenance responsibilities will include weeding, mulching, pruning, and composting. Additionally, volunteers can help with specialized tasks such as assembling or repairing raised beds, filling beds with soil, installing irrigation systems, and helping with other various repairs.
We will send an email out to everyone who has signed up with more information closer to the date.
