Wolf Howl 2025 signup sheet

A Big camp like this takes a lot of volunteers to run. Groups need to have enough volunteers to keep youth safe, but the event itself needs volunteers. Outside of section Scouters attending with their Pack there is over 400 person hours needed during the camp itself. This doesn't account for the Administrative/Planning team, but is a good starting point for measuring how much service is needed to make Wolf Howl amazing.

To meet this, each group is asked to provide Offers of Service volunteers. Each role below has a number of Credits.

If your group is attending the Onboard (meals included) option then please have your number of Credits per group meet or exceed the number of youth you have attending.
If you are participating in the Offboard (no meals, or only mug up) option then please sign up for .75 Credits per youth attending

ie: 1st Muddy Boot is bringing 16 Cubs, they need 16 Credits worth of volunteer hours. They might send one volunteer for parking (4 credits), one for Sunday breakfast(4 credits), and one to run a station (8 credits). This could be 1, 2, or 3 people to fill these roles (PLEASE be sure your volunteers are comfortable with the hours they are volunteering) who can then spend the rest of the weekend with your group or go home if they prefer.

1st Rubber Boot is sending the same number of youth, but they are not participating in meals so they will only need to supply 12 Credits worth of Volunteer hours.

When signing up as a volunteer, please enter the group name in the First Name field and the volunteer's full name in the Last Name field. Then enter the contact information for the volunteer themselves so that we can contact them directly.

Offers of Service must meet Scouts Canada Volunteer Screening: Groups are responsible for ensuring their volunteers meet screening requirements
