Help children choose a toy to take home on Giveaway Day!
Volunteers in the Toy Area will keep their assigned age-group area organized, replenish toys as needed, and help children with their selections. Volunteers may also assist Family Hosts, particularly when they are accompanying multiple or younger children.
Toy areas are divided by age group: 0-3, 4-7, 8-13, and 14-18. Adults are permitted only in the 0-3 Toy Area to assist very young children.
As children leave the Toy Area, their wristbands will be removed and placed in the appropriate age-group container. These wristbands are used to track the number of children served in each age group, so it is important that all wristbands are collected.
Volunteers should rotate between assisting children and wristband collection as needed. Volunteers assigned to the 14-18 area may also assist with jewelry items.
The final shift will help pack and organize remaining toys at the end of the event.
