The CAKE STALL at the LASF is traditionally managed by the Kindy & Year 6 as a combined group. The cake stall is delivered as part of our Sweet Treats zone on the day of the fair, with our yummy gelato, fairy floss and coffee also available for purchase.
The coffee will be set up and delivered by a third party provider. The fairy floss and gelato will be set up by the same provider, but sales are managed by us.
Activities:
Prepare the cake boxes for distribution to students - including the communication around what baked goods are required, and the ingredients slips
Distribute the cake boxes to students
Receive the cake boxes from families and sort and price ready for sale
Set up the CAKE STALL - the table, decorations, cakes on display, gazebo for the weather
Set up GELATO & FAIRY FLOSS; includes instruction on how to serve - you will need to do a hand over when new people are starting their shift.
Man the sales of CAKE STALL (4pax), GELATO & FAIRY FLOSS (3pax) during the fair. An EFTPOS will be provided for sales.
Pack up the Sweet Treats zone at the end of the day - note any cakes unsold and sellable are to be moved to the Art Show hall for sale as part of the morning tea on Sunday.
