JULY TIFO PAINTING signup sheet
Join the Kansas City Blue Crew and help paint our next game-day TIFO!
Tifo is the phenomenon whereby supporters of a team make a visual display of any choreographed flag, sign, or banner in the stands of a stadium to support and hype up the players.
We'll provide all the supplies (paint, brushes, cups, cleaning tools, etc.) and some light refreshments. Please remember to bring water and wear comfortable clothing you do not mind getting dirty! Our painting space is in a West Bottoms warehouse, so depending on the weather, it can get a bit toasty.
Please be aware that the space is in an older building and there are a decent amount of stairs there. There is not an accessible entrance.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
All volunteers must refrain from taking pictures or posting images of the TIFO design to social media. We're counting on you to keep the design a secret for the players and fans until the TIFO is raised on game day!
Shifts are 3 hours each, but volunteers are invited to sign up for multiple sessions and to come early/stay as long as you'd like. Our end time may be flexible pending how many people we get and how fast we work!
The address for the painting space is 1219 Union Ave, KCMO. It is in the West Bottoms right above The Ship!
