Come ready to have fun and be flexible. Each week looks a bit different depending on how many volunteers we have. Typically, we begin with time together learning about a theme. Then younger students will break into small groups with tutors to expand on that theme. Older students will work with a tutor one-on-one on homework assignments.
One hour a week with a supportive adult coaching them academically is valuable. The relationship that develops over time will help the student tremendously. Thank you for being that adult!
