Going Batty in Glacier National Park 🦇 signup sheet

The Going Batty Field Trip will be held on Thursday, July 17th in West Glacier, MT. The event begins at 8:00 p.m. and ends around 11:30 p.m. We will meet participants on Quarter Circle Bridge Road, in the parking area across from the Horse Corral. Be prepared to walk about a half mile to the trap site. This is a free event and is open to the public. Participants will NOT be allowed to touch or handle bats. Headlamps or flashlights are necessary. Participants will also be required to wear a mask near bats. Please wear suitable clothing for the weather as well as sturdy footwear. Participants are encouraged to bring a small backpack with food, water, layers, and bear spray.

This field trip is limited to 35 participants. Registration is required. Once the Event reaches 35 participants, registration will be capped. Thank you for understanding. If the event is full and you would like to be placed on a waitlist, please email gcantrell@nps.gov and we will notify you if a spot opens up.
