Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Visit Goldsboro NC Junior Championship from Thursday, April 3 to Sunday, April 6. During these dates Lane Tree Golf Club will host 78 of the nation’s best junior golfers. We are looking for volunteers to help in the following roles:
Timing Station: Record groups' times and scores at timing station holes.
Water Rover: Refresh and ice down AJGA water coolers on the course throughout the day.
Player Registration: Assist the AJGA staff in registering golfers and handing out registration gifts.
Please select the dates and times that work best for you. Feel free to volunteer on multiple days and times.
All volunteers will receive an AJGA hat and lunch.
If you have a scheduling conflict or are unable to volunteer on the given dates and times, here are a couple ways you can support the AJGA outside of volunteering:
• Private Housing: Hosting one or more AJGA staff members for the duration of the event
• Donated Product: Donating cases of water/fruit for juniors to have during the tournament
• Staff Cost Donation: Donation used by the AJGA to help cover staff costs such as hotel costs, gas costs, etc.
The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. The AJGA provides valuable exposure for college golf scholarships, and has an annual junior membership (boys and girls, ages 12-19) of more than 9,000 junior golfers from 50 states and 60 foreign countries.
