Join us at the end of Tyee Spit on Friday, Nov. 8th at 5:00pm for a look at various celestial objects, including a half-moon, Jupiter and its moons, Saturn, and Mars. Members of the Comox Valley Astronomy Club will be leading us and providing telescopes.
We will also discuss the importance of dark skies and how light pollution can interfere with natural life cycles.
Please bring your own binoculars if you have them, dress to keep warm, and avoid bringing bright lights as they can hinder night seeing.
