SOS 2024-2025 Season signup sheet
Welcome to the team for the Satellite Overflow Shelter (SOS) where we provide safe, warm sleeps for neighbors experiencing homelessness and build supportive community. This season we are operating December 14, 2024 - March 31, 2025, 7 nights a week 6pm-8am out of the following sites: Chkalov Building (521 SE Chkalov Dr.) Sat-Tues and Immanuel Lutheran Church (8310 MacArthur Blvd.). Please join us by serving one of the following shifts: Meal Volunteer (5:45pm meal delivery); Evening Kitchen Shift (5:30pm-8:30pm food service); Evening Shower Shift (6pm-9pm managing showers @ Immanuel site only); Morning Shift (6-8:30am serving breakfast/kitchen cleanup); Laundry (Wednesdays for Chkalov site & Saturdays for Immanuel site). It takes our community working together to provide warm, safe sleeps and caring community for our neighbors experiencing homelessness, so we appreciate your partnership. Blessings!
