Scroll down to volunteer
On Saturday, 3rd May, Safety Bay Primary School P&C will host a Sausage Sizzle and Bake Sale Fundraising Stall at the Safety Bay Primary School Polling Booth.
Volunteers are needed for both baked goods and on-the-day service. If you’re able to assist with on-the-day volunteering, please register your support here: https://volunteersignup.org/XJKE3
If you’re unable to volunteer, we’d greatly appreciate your support through baked goods or donations for the sausage sizzle. Please register your contributions below.
If you need inspiration, feel free to choose from our suggested items or go with "Baker’s Choice" for something of your own!
Bake Sale Guidelines: P&C bake sales are council-approved, and we must follow the guidelines below when baking:
* No fresh cream
* No cream cheese
* No custard
* No ganache
Each baker must supply a list of ingredients along with their Supplier Number (found on the signup sheet). All allergens must be listed, including:
* Gluten
* Eggs and egg products
* Milk and milk products
* Soya beans and products
* Nuts
* Sesame seeds
* Sulphites (a preservative)
* Royal jelly (secretion from bees)
* Bee pollen (pollen collected by bees)
* Propolis (substance collected by bees)
Please note that we cannot label items made with gluten-free ingredients as “Gluten-Free” due to the risk of cross-contamination with wheat products sold on the day. You can label them as “Low Gluten" or "Gluten-Friendly.” Labels can be as simple as typing your information on an A4 sheet of paper and sticking it to your container.
Each item will be sold for $3. If possible, consider packaging smaller items, like cookies, in pairs for better value.
Baked Goods Delivery: Bakers must deliver baked goods in airtight containers or wrapping to one of the following locations:
* Friday evening: 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm at a member's home in Safety Bay. (Email for the address)
* Saturday morning: 7:00 am – 8:00 am at the school's conference room
Please ensure all containers are labelled with your name and phone number. Containers should be collected immediately after the event or by Tuesday morning from the conference room. Any uncollected containers will be donated by the end of the week.
If you have any questions or concerns, please email us at safetybaypc@gmail.com.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SUPPORTING YOUR P&C!
