City Council District 1 Candidate Forum July 15 signup sheet
We've been invited to serve as timekeepers for the Wichita Journalism Collaborative's District 1 candidate forum. With five candidates, all of whom have confirmed their attendance, so it should be a great event. We also get to have a table to help people register, verify registration, and apply for mail-in ballots. It's also a perfect opportunity to promote our League and let people know who we are. The event will be at the Marcus Welcome Center on the north side of the WSU campus. We'll be there from 5:30 to 8:00, as the event runs from 6:00 to 7:30. We have all the supplies needed to do the timekeeping, so timekeepers won't need to bring anything.
