Thank you for exploring volunteer opportunities for Asian Counseling and Referral Services Annual Benefit Gala. Over the last four and a half decades, you have helped create a home where Asian Americans, Pacific Islanders and others – immigrant, refugee or American born – can find help from nearly 280 dedicated and passionate staff who speak over 40 languages and dialects. It is each of you, especially in these challenging times, who fuels the hope and opportunity that ACRS represents to our community.

Join us in celebrating the resiliency of our clients and communities. Sign up to volunteer below and invite others to join you!

Frequently Asked Questions:

What do volunteers do?
As a gala volunteer, you'll have the opportunity to touch almost every aspect of this event and help raise funds to continue fueling the mission of ACRS. Volunteers are involved in every part of the event from event set up, to registration, to greeting guests and managing activity in our ballroom.

What role should I sign up for?
There are many roles and volunteer opportunities to choose from. Please note the dates, times and location to choose what works best for you. Here are some helpful tips:

* Pre-event and Post-event volunteering: If you are a Marie Kondo fan, this is the job for you! You'll get to add
care and attention to the details before and after the event.

* Day-of-Volunteers: Do you love hosting and attending parties? Do you like working in teams? Day-of-volunteers help set the tone of the event and ensure that the gala goes smoothly. You will be paired with a staff lead and other volunteers throughout the night.

* Lead volunteers: Do you have fundraising and/or event experience? If so, we'd love to work with you. Contact
volunteer@acrs.org to learn about special lead roles.

When?
Most volunteers are needed the day of the gala, Saturday, October 5. Shifts begin as early as 3pm and throughout the night. There are also volunteer opportunities the days before and after the gala. See specific times below.
