The WWII Traveling Memorial will be coming to Wisconsin for the first time on Sunday, August 30th through September 4th 2020.
Volunteers are needed for the following:
Sunday August 30th at 11am: Unload and setup of Memorial
This will be physical in nature, volunteers should expect to be lifting and adjusting heavy pieces. Volunteers should dress accordingly, with hats, gloves, comfortable clothing. Masks will be required, and we ask that you bring water. This will take place rain or shine
Monday August 31st - Thursday September 3rd: Information Table attendants
Being on hand to check in guests, hand out information, and register walk-ups if available. Will be under cover, and volunteers are asked to have basic technology skills to work an iPad or similar. (teams of 2) Various 2 hours shifts available from 9am - 7pm daily.
Friday September 4th at 11am: Tear down of Memorial
This will be physical in nature, volunteers should expect to be lifting and adjusting heavy pieces. Volunteers should dress accordingly, with hats, gloves, comfortable clothing. Masks will be required, and we ask that you bring water. This will take place rain or shine
