Dear Greenways Members and guests,
Please Join Us at Our Annual General Meeting, to be held 6:30 to 8:30 pm on Wednesday, March 12th at the Maritime Heritage Centre's Thulin Room.
Please RSVP on the sign-up sheet below to help us coordinate the event.
We will have:
- updates from staff
- we will also be presenting our annual Woodpecker Awards to honour the contributions of some of our most dedicated volunteers
and we will have guest speaker Rhianna Nagel (Manager, Centre for Applied Research, Technology and Innovation, North Island College) for a presentation, titled: Collaborative Mariculture Research and Innovation in Coastal BC. Rhianna will talk about the dynamic seaweed and shellfish sectors in coastal BC. She will share examples of collaborative research and innovation projects for ecological restoration, regional economic development and cultural revitalization.
