6/25/2021 Food Distribution at Lombard/Villa Park Food Pantry signup sheet

Thank you for registering to volunteer at the drive thru food pantry event being held at the Lombard/Villa Park Food Pantry (located at 155 W Maple, Lombard, IL 60148). We are anticipating that approximately 50 families will be attending this event. As a reminder, all information is subject to change at any time for everyone’s safety and well-being. Thank you in advance for your help and we look forward to seeing you soon!

What to Wear
Please be sure to dress for the weather as we will be outdoors for the entire event. Also, you will be required to wear a mask the entire time.

Parking & Check-in for Volunteers
Volunteers are to park in the east parking lot located just off of Maple St. Please do not park in the lot off of Main St as this area is used for lining clients up for pantry distribution. All volunteers are to check in at the main pantry door (located off of Main St) and complete a waiver before starting their shift.

Once checked in, you will be directed to Hester Bury who will provide you with specific assignment responsibilities.
Keeping Healthy & Additional Questions
If for any reason you are not feeling well, are experiencing COVID-19 or contagious cold/flu symptoms, and/or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, please do not report for your shift. If you are unable to report for your shift and/or have any questions, please email or call us at 630.629.9622. At the event, there will be bottles of hand sanitizer that you are encouraged and welcome to use. Please mind your distance at all times.

As Clients Arrive
Clients will be checked in by a volunteer and a number will be marked on their car for the number of families the client is picking food up for.

Lining Up
After check-in, the vehicles will proceed thru the circular driveway and head west towards Main St.

Food Station
As the vehicle arrives at the food distribution area, the car is to pull up to the cone and be put into park. Volunteers will carry over to the vehicle applicable food items. Once everything is loaded into the vehicle, the client is to proceed to the exit area.

Post Event Clean Up
Everyone will help with post event clean up.
