Thank you for your interest in getting involved in the work of Sunnyside & Woodside Mutual Aid! Please read the following carefully…

"Point Person ★" shifts are reserved for volunteers who have done the same shift previously and would feel comfortable showing new volunteers how the shift works. If you sign-up as a point person, you will be provided names and contact information for other volunteers on that day.

New volunteers may sign up for any shift without a ★. Before signing up for the first time, please make sure you have also completed the form at http://swma.nyc/vol to agree with our Safety Protocols.

Shifts are in chronological order. To find a shift by keyword, press Ctrl+F (on Windows PC, Chromebook, or Linux system), or Command+F (on a Mac) on your keyboard, and type what you are looking for, i.e. "cooking," "driver," "pantry."

Check the description field for the location. Addresses are as follows (A–Z):
• 45th Street Composters, 45th Street between 43rd Ave and Skillman Ave, Sunnyside, NY 11104 (a waiver will be required for volunteers at this site)

• 61st St-Woodside MTA Station, 61st St & Roosevelt Ave, Woodside, NY 11377 (orange bags go here)
• Globe Tavern, 4910 Skillman Ave, Queens, NY 11377
• St Jacobus Lutheran Church, 72-01 43rd Ave, Woodside, NY 11377 (drivers should use the entrance on 43rd Ave between 72nd St and 73rd St)
• Sunnyside Community Services, 43-31 39th St, Sunnyside, NY 11104
• Woodside Houses, 49th St & Broadway, Woodside, NY 11377 (green bags go here)
